not only is it light and solid, but the presence of a surprisingly grippy handle and the eject, retreat trigger being on the side personally is a much better position for those with smaller hands or less strength (I have another with the button in a different place, this location is better due to thumb position) - the build quality just screams 'money well spent' but it's not a burden in terms of weight.
