After carrying a CRKT M16 model knife for last 20 years (anyone that knows that knife will know how big it is), I thought I would splurge and get myself a new knife for Christmas. I really wanted to get an OTF type knife but with Christmas just a few days away I didn't have the funds available to splurge that much. During the 21 days of Christmas sale that Teckto held I watched to see if any of the OTF knives that I really wanted would have been offered and to my disappointment none were. I also noticed that the ones that were offered ones that I would call mini knives (blades that are under 2 inches). A knife that small I could really only use as a letter opener. As a member of the military I need a knife that I can use daily. One that I can use no matter what job I need it for. Well a few days before Christmas Teckto offered the Strict model which had a blade over 3 inches which is a Decent length for a knife blade, so I bought it. The reason that I call the knife little is because when holding it in your hand it is about the size of a pen in diameter, so fairly small. But that being said, the knife is really well made and SHARP. I received the night the day before Christmas And I allowed my nephew To use it to open One of his Christmas presents and even after warning him about the sharpness of the knife, he still ended up cutting himself. Luckily it wasn't too bad
