Photo from BC #guestagrammer @victoraerden: "We further passed through Liard Hot Springs, probably the most famous stop along the Alaska Highway, and went on into the Yukon. After our adventures there, we entered BC again to head south on the Stewart-Cassiar Highway. This highway is very significant in Canada’s pioneering history as well as aboriginal culture. From totem poles, immense glaciers, and mountain tops to abandoned outposts and mining towns, it was perhaps my favourite drive of this trip. The first part of this highway winds through giant forests, which are only interrupted by several beautiful lakes, a lot of them surprisingly pleasant to swim in. I don’t know the name of this lake, but from above it almost looked tropical to me." #exploreBC #exploreCanada #travelnorthernBC
