She initially made the move to Whistler from Maple Ridge simply to chase the snow after a dismal season at home. Her intention was to stay for a year, but as the opportunities to take photos became endless, her pursuit for snow turned into a pursuit for every sparkly moment that caught her eye – which is a lot of moments as is turned out. "I taught myself to snowboard on Mt. Seymour two years ago, which pitched me into a really healthy addiction that has turned my winters into an endless chase of snow. It’s also arguably the only mountain on the North Shore that has the BEST view for sunrise & sunset.
