Late one afternoon we decided to take a detour towards Chilko Lake, hoping to find some grizzly bears at the river’s edge. We missed the bears that day, but we were treated to a spectacular sunset set against the backdrop of a wintery storm in the mountains. The fall foliage was positively radiating light. Bundled up with warm blankets in our sprinter van, sipping hot cocoa, we parked by a lake with the doors open and just watched the show unfold." #exploreBC #exploreCanada #CCClives
