A happy new year post from us to all of you✨💫
This photo was taken after an event in Los Angeles, where we enjoyed a long lunch of planning and dreaming for 2026. We rarely get photos of us, and so asked our waiter to snap a quick one (proof of life of Amy and Laura). This was it. Hardly visible. Light beaming from behind us. We laughed. We aren’t exactly camera shy, but also not content creators, who feel comfortable on camera, sharing looks and creations and fully fluent in online conversation. We are creatives, running a growing business, learning new software, and how to manage 401Ks, and how to streamline our team and inventory and processes. We are also raising children, and balancing the always changing landscape that all of that brings. So we laughed, and still, have decided to share our dark and blurry photo with you all — with the intention to connect more in 2026.
To our team : We are in awe of you. You brought us to tears at the end of 2025 with your enthusiasm, your energy, your sparkle and your incredible drive to keep things running smoothly, and keep our customer happy and our brand thriving. Your creativity and passion were the most rewarding gift to us in 2025. Thank you.
To our THATCH customers and community : Thank you for choosing us. Thank you for playing with us and allowing us to dress up or add some color to your everyday. Thank you for trusting us with your gifting and choosing us again and again. Thank you for your reviews and sweet notes and visits. We love you.
Looking ahead to 2026 : We are dreaming and planning for an excellent year with big things in the works. We can’t wait to re-open our studio doors in a few days and get back to work. More events, more fun and unique styles to be layered, an incredible lineup of markets and travel and expansion we simply can’t wait to share with you 💫✨
