"While I was growing up, I was never comfortable in my skin. I was born with a limb difference missing the lower half of my right arm. I never saw anyone that looked like me and always felt like I was different, and not in a good way. I hid my arm by wearing sweaters in the summer, long sleeves on hot days, and anything else to cover up my arm, because it was the thing that made me different. I had to get to the point that I realized the ‘different’ wasn’t bad, it was just unique and cool- something that made me stand out! I learned to love standing out and my limb difference became something that I embraced because it made me unique. Today I am a mom and I love the skin that I am in. I rock it and own it, stretch marks and all! I’m embracing my uniqueness!" ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ YES, Jaleesa! 👏 We love everything about this — unique. is. beautiful.
