But seriously y’all, I’m so proud of me and how far my self-confidence has come over the years. Even at my thinnest, with no stretch marks, sagging skin, or random hairs on my chin and upper lip, I was always so self-conscious.

I was born with a skin discoloration (as you can see here), and I hated it for so much of my life. People would often ask me “what’s wrong with your skin”? I played soccer growing up, but when I started playing in college my legs and butt got bigger (which I loved), but it also gave me stretch marks that I always wanted to cover up. I have a mole in my belly button, that I also was always super self-conscious about growing up. It’s almost comical to me the things that used to bother me…

But now, in my 40’s, I love these stretch marks and sagging skin and rolls. They are proof of the two beautiful babies that my body carried. My moles and skin discoloration no longer affect me. God gave me this skin. He knitted me together in my mothers womb just as He designed. As for the grays and random hairs, hey, there’s tweezers for that right?! 😅
