Do you remember the last time you were really stuck? Like really, REALLY stuck. For me, it was back when I started Thriae - struggling to find sustainably sourced fabrics and ethical manufacturing processes.
I literally searched high and low. Traveling to on-site meetings, analyzing labor standards, and researching material selections - all without resulting in towels that screamed “luxury” without the “affordability.” While my values were crystal clear, it still had to make sense in order for the business to stay afloat. 😵💫🛟
I thought I’d never find the perfect balance, until I came across a manufacturer who was Oeko-Tex certified, paying its employees well, sourcing transparently, working with traditional artisans, looming with 100% Turkish cotton, AND open to creating our own designs. It was a match made in heaven, and all it took was a dedicated shift in perspective from “perfect” to “balanced.” 😌🌱
