TILEBAR TIDBIT | On the hunt for shower tile? Here are a few pointers to keep in mind when choosing the perfect one:
1. Keep maintenance in mind. Natural stone tiles will need more TLC than porcelain tiles. This is due to their naturally porous body. So, if you don't have the time to dedicate to cleaning thoroughly, often, you probably won't want to go with a stone tile.
2. To scale or not to scale? That is the question. You can either use large format porcelain tiles that have smaller grout lines, both on the wall as well as floor, or you could go with a mosaic on the floor with more grout lines for a bit more traction paired with a subway tile on the wall.
3. Always keep your overall design in mind. While you may love the color of a tile, make sure you're checking in with the other elements in your design to make sure things match properly.
