I grew up with clawfoot tubs - that’s all we had in my childhood home. When we bought our house there wasn’t even a shower - just this tub that I guess the previous owner would soak in?? anyways we demoed the whole bath and tried to put it back together ourselves with the help of our greek tile man. Honestly we should have gotten a contractor. The tub is 3 inches off the wall making it impossible to seal. The original plan was to enclose one side with glass and have this modern vintage look I love. So TBD the future of this bath. It’s still pretty though.
We got rid of the original door and replaced it with this milk glass single pane door ✌🏼
I painted the exterior of the tub white (was black)
Both floor and wall tile are from tilebar. I don’t like subway tile so opted for this vertical look.
