1961 Ranch Kitchen Remodel Design Project ✨. I cannot even begin to explain how excited I am about this kitchen!! In Fall 2020, I helped my clients purchase a home in an area they love with a backyard that was perfect for them, however, the kitchen was not functional for their family of 4. There was no pantry, double ovens (but they were small), a low-hanging microwave over the cooktop that didn’t fit a large pot under it, a small sink, little counter space, and not a lot of light. It was nearly a dealbreaker before going under contract, but I helped them envision some possibilities for a new kitchen and they saw the potential. A few months after closing, my clients reached out to me to help design their new kitchen.

Fast forward to Fall 2021 and here is their new (dream) kitchen! It’s almost entirely a new footprint that is a much better use of space for this family. Light, bright, welcoming, and a touch of mid-century mod to give a nod to the era of the home. The space is now ready for entertaining… or probably more frequently, their kids bellying up at the peninsula for a snack. The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous, but more importantly to my client is that it is now functional. So thankful for being able to help them with both real estate and design!! 😃
