#TileBar Pattern Tips: Vertically Stacked & Herringbone Must-Knows
This kitchen features two of our favorite tile patterns; vertically stacked and herringbone!
(Did you spot the subtle herringbone on the floor before we said it? 😉)
These patterns are simple to install, offer a timeless look and make your space uniquely you. Here's a few things you need to know about both tile patterns and how to replicate these layouts:
⭐️ Vertically Stacked
This design is a spin-off of the traditional stacked design. Instead of laying your subway tiles in a offset horizontal pattern, you'll flip just flip the tiles length-wise and stack vertically. This tiling pattern is most popular on backsplashes and is an easy way to give your space a little twist for a more unique look!
⭐️ Herringbone
A herringbone pattern looks similar to arrows repeating. (This pattern actually got it's name because it mimics the pattern of the herring fish!) This layout is a really simple twist on classic subway tiles and is a popular pattern to create a striking, timeless style on backsplashes and floors. Simply place V-shaped rows of tile in alternating 45-degree angles to recreate the herringbone tile in your next design project!
