. #repost @kygarten It's been a great field season. This summer was challenging and rewarding in so many ways. I slept in a condemned quonset hut, got bitten by a desert recluse (twice), unintentionally consumed more sand than the average person should in a lifetime, lived without AC or running water, spent long hours in the blistering heat and was priviledged to work with amazing wildlife and meet some wonderful people along the way.
Here's me with the very first Flat-tailed Horned Lizard I ever tracked back in May.
