Whether we succeed or not, I think every time we choose to overcome a particular challenge, we learn a little more about ourselves. To know oneself is a great asset. Only by knowing ourselves and being challenged can we grow and improve as individuals. Therefore, by attempting to conquer that “mountain”, we gain greater insight into who we are, what our strengths and limitations are, our goals and priorities, and perhaps our place in the world.
