I get a lot of questions about the girls' names, so here we go:
Bauer - this was our boy name. And then the doc said, "It's a girl!" and we were basically like, whatever. How bad ass of a name is 'Bauer' for a girl? Not a family name. Literally out of thin air. Maybe we'll start a trend with this one?
Kingsley - my maiden name is King and I'm one of three girls (sorry, Daddy). My husband got it in his head that if our second was a boy we'd name him King. Clearly this was an idea that needed to be squashed. So then the doc said, "It's a girl!" and I said, "Thank you Jesus and screamed: KINGSLEY!!!"
