The detroitredwings may not have won last night but I am feeling like a winner! After two weeks of no time off between work and home/kid responsibilities, it was nice to live with no cares or worries in Detroit yesterday/last night! While yesterday included some work, it was such a fun day! Before I became a mommy, the most repeated advice I received was how important self care is and solo time so we can have time to recharge. It was the best advice I got and although it took me a while to make this time a part of my routine, I notice how much I need it now when I don’t get it. I feel so grateful for my village who helped with the girls yesterday so I could have this time! .
