I had my heart set on a "real" vacation this summer (truth- 3 of my 4 kids have never been on an airplane) #bigfamilylife We tend to drive most places when your families plane tickets alone cost $2500? So when we priced it out, it was going to be way over what we had in our humble savings(we don't use credit cards ?), so we opted for some camping, and a backyard play structure that Chris will build this summer. .

Reality check, life is still pretty great ? We all have our health, thank you Jesus! And we have everything we need and lots of stuff we want. God has blessed Chris with a great job and I think if we didn't have 100 kids, we'd be rich ? But, when we had our first surprise at 20, then 16 years later another surprise... We knew God was like, I'm giving you something way better than money. And He has. So so much better ❤️ So kicking my pity party to the curb and going full content today!
