They say having children is like having your heart exist on the outside of your body. I’m here to tell you it’s true 🖤 I remember this shoot and how in between shots of trying to love on him, I felt emotional and anxious. It’s still a daily journey to healing and overcoming but we’ve come a long way, and I’m so grateful to be his mama. For anyone who is struggling or knows someone who might be, I’ve posted the warning signs to watch for, resources and tools to use, and a long list of incredible verses that are helpful in fighting postpartum depression or anxiety.
