I'll be there first to say it. I'm luckier than I deserve. I have a beautiful family, and a wonderful life. About this time last year, my wife told me that she wanted a dog... That she needed one.
I love my wife beyond words (she's ridiculously lovely), and I knew that this wasn't a point to be questioned. She tried many times to rescue a pup, but nothing worked out. Rescues actually bring dogs up from the south, I guess that there's a high adoption rate up here in the Northeast.
At any rate, I wasn't thrilled about getting a dog - we had a cat for 18 years, but never raised a dog... We lucked out. Flora is perfect, and my disdain was bananas dumb.
It's just Flora and I for a couple of days, so I invited her to shoot with me. She understood the task🤣.
Today's kit is good. It's simple, but I'm curious about whether or not it'll be well received. The blue in these weargustin rainbow nep is unique and tricky to pair. They're a bright blue. I paired all neutral brown/tan tones. I now live in this dehen1920 n-1 jacket (thanks zachthespook, it's definitely getting wear over here). A simple coppery brown work shirt from toadandcoclothing, and a tan henley from target. My pants are staying up from my khleather buck brown belt, I did a French tuck to give it some visibility. redwingheritage blacksmith boots in copper rough and tough.
