We just got back from a magical trip Europe, where we took a river cruise with vikingcruises to see some of Europe’s famous Christmas Market (hosted). While we MIGHT still be recovering from jet lag, this was one of the highlights of our year. We saw 8 Christmas markets and 4 countries in 8 days and, at age 34, Amiana finally got to experience Europe for the first time! 🌍

📸 1: Enjoying hot roasted chestnuts at the Christmas market in Freiburg, Germany. Have you ever tried a freshly roasted chestnut? They’re a tradition in Gwyn’s family! 🌰
📸 2: A beautiful window display in Strasbourg, France. We were utterly charmed by Strasbourg, and wish we had had more time to explore the city. 🌸
📸 3: Breakfast on our ship, the Viking Kara. The ship had a buffet and fixed menu for breakfast, and a rotating menu for lunch and dinner featuring regional specialties. The food was delicious! 🍳
📸 4-5: The Christmas market in Cologne, Germany. This, and the market in Speyer, Germany, were probably the ‘vibiest’ of the 8 Christmas markets we visited. 🎅🏼

📸 8: Amiana on the streets of Strasbourg. Our uniforms for the trip consisted of waterproof rei jackets, a portlandleather tote (if you go to Europe make sure to bring a bag that zips!), toadandcoclothing pants, and dansko boots (gifted). 10/10, no further notes. ✨
