A lot of new faces here, so I wanted to reintroduce myself with 20 Fast Facts about Xave the Planet and Me 🌱👋🏼
1. My name is Xavy pronounced s-AH-vee, pronouns she/her(s) 🤗
2. Xave the Planet serves as a multi-faceted platform to showcase my work, hold space to blog my thoughts, and share my favorite resources
3. I practice mindful, sustainable living meaning I try to find the balance that will increase the longevity of our planet, its resources, and life on Earth for our current and future generations with compassion for the collective wellbeing (encompassing inclusivity, equity, authenticity, and adaptability)
4. I identify as a writer and content creator passionate about reimagining and reforming the world of fashion and consumerism
5. I’ve been vegan for over 2.5 yrs now (3 in July 🙂) & meat-free for 11 yrs
6. I graduated with a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University in 2020 (lol) with a primary focus on our interpersonal relationships
7. My pastime hobbies include sketching, singing, writing, and binging streaming services (currently on Grace and Frankie) ✍🏼
8. I’m diagnosed with PTSD, depression, and OCD, and often use this page to advocate for mental heath awareness
9. I’m Laorican (Lao & Puerto Rican)
10. I have an emotional support dog named Woody Harrelson (who will be 3 yrs old in June 🥺)
11. I was born in Rochester, NY, grew up in Columbus, OH and lived in Chicago, IL for four years before moving back home
12. I try to read one book a month (usually with my book club) on topics that challenge or emphasize social and cultural issues 📚

14. I LOVE moving (four apartments since 2020 all under a year leases — a fifth otw 👀)
