Has anyone else been having an exceedingly strange week? Mercury retrograde ended Sunday so I don’t think I can blame it on that, but here I am 🤷🏻♀️
Through all of the craziness of this week the one thing not failing to bring me lots of joy has been bike 🚲 riding. Riding my towny to drop off bread at the homes of neighbors and rolling over to my co-op to pick up groceries. It makes me feel free, alive, like a kid. The bike for me activates my most playful side.
Last night I rode my carbon fiber women’s specific specialized ruby pro (not pictured) with friends out the Greenway and back for a 28ish mile ride after work. The sunlight was that golden hour, perfect light. So perfect you want to savor the feeling of it. Cycling allows you to really see it, really be present for the beauty right in front of you! Cycling in all it’s forms gets you outside, it grants you a freedom like nothing else.
