Happy International Women's Day!
It is impossible to highlight all the amazing women in my life (including my own mum (who is sadly not on instagram) I would have to say that a real "fan-girl' moment for me was the first time I met Rosita Missoni when she visited our Sydney Store.
A truly inspirational women in business. Rosita founded Missoni (with her late husband Ottavio) in 1953. Together they built an empire that has 3 generations across the business. Passing it from woman to woman, Rosita Missoni was succeeded by her daughter Angela in 1998 while Rosita created Missoni Home as we know it today.
Rosita, it was an absolute delight to have you, and fun to have lunch with you right there in the middle of our Crows Nest store! A lunch I will never forget. 💗
Rosita is just one of many inspirational women that I congratulate on this International Women's Day. Thank you to all women who have inspired me and continue to do so every day.
