How many times has your umbrella blown inside out or almost poked an eye out? Kiwi engineer Greig Brebner noticed these problems with umbrellas during his rainy day commutes whilst living in London. He had grown up being inspired by his own fathers creations and had always been intrigued by engineering and inventors. Greig had noticed how umbrellas were treated as a throwaway commodity as well - due to poor quality materials and flimsy, outdated designs. He set out to reinvent the umbrella - which had not been done since 1928!
With details such as a canopy that will not tear at the tips or easily turn inside out, a push-pull runner making it easy to open, a concealed catch to keep it closed when not in use, and multiple sizes and colour ways - there is a Blunt to suit everyone’s rainy day needs! They also release beautiful, fun limited edition prints each year in collaboration with amazing designers!
