I really love this image that the creator of @chessplusplay , Christian took at HOME.GROWN - a celebration of Australian design hosted by @authenticdesign_aus for @sydneydesignfestival .
From Friday to Sunday we set up a popup marketplace showcasing some of our fabulous Australian designers, including @chessplusplay, and creator Christian and wife Terri (yes , another Terri!) challenged guests to the wonderful and fast-paced game of @chessplusplay . We have totally fallen in love with this fast-paced and energizing new game of chess. It is chess... but better! Combine pieces to give them the moves of both pieces, such a simple idea and so much fun. .
The pieces have been beautifully created by industrial designer Adam Laws and are beautiful in their own right. Available in resin or maple wood. .
