I feel I need to vent something that is bugging me about what I do: The Georg range from Skagerak has been a favourite at top3 for some time now. We are particularly fond of the Skagerak Georg Stool by Chris L. Halstrøm. Pictured here 👌🏼 | As a stand-alone feature stool or for compact dining table seating it has a beautiful profile.

We are proud that if you compare International pricing, you will find we have better pricing right here in Australia than buying overseas. ✨
A leading International retailer has this stool currently quoted at $362 Australian Dollars at first sight. Once you add it to your cart and they add shipping and taxes, the price goes to $484.94. (Yes, they collect and pay your GST, but they add it to your order!) This does not allow for the duty that may be payable on landing into Australia (as confirmed in their terms and conditions). You can’t collect it if you don’t pay it.

Lately there has been a trend for Australian bloggers to promote International Brands, and increasingly promote International shipping of their items, insinuating that it will be cheaper than buying here in Australia.
