Another time capsule in the misadventures of Lucille and Reggie. Which means another photo of the couple attempting to unwind on vacation. During their 1981 visit to the Silver Swan Beach Bar & Lounge, Reggie's 6th sense was telling him Lucille wasn't fully calibrated to “vacation mode.” This same intuition led Reggie to notice she hadn't taken a single sip of her sparkling coconut gin cocktail; which shockingly enough, was missing a lime wedge. Reggie immediately stormed into the bar to correct this fatal error in leisure etiquette. With his perm freshly combed and his collar popped, he consulted the bartender regarding their return policies on beverages. And as soon as Reggie flashed his Diners Club Platinum Charge Card the lounge staff swiftly shifted gears. By the end of the night, Lucille was rightfully compensated with a 15% discount on all appetizers (weekends only) and finally she was fully engaged to “vacation mode.” Well done, Reggie.
