Sunscreen Display Artist, @thisissophia, enjoying the warm waters of Playa Carolina which admittedly were quite taxing to deal with for our Leisure Photography Team. Just moments before the shoot, the beach was drier than a basket of overcooked calamari. And after sending hundreds of employees from HQ to toss buckets of water on the coastline, we knew there had to be a more cost-effective solution. It was at this moment that the team learned that Ray Smith (Regional Sales Director and Part Time Company Accountant) once filed taxes for the legendary Pompano Beach local news weatherman Ken “Heatwave” Weaver. After pulling some strings with the University of Miami Meteorological Department, Ken was able to advise Ray of the exact time the tide would be at the optimal height to take the shot. And at precisely 11:06 AM, the photo was captured. Well done, Ray. And well done team.
