For weeks, our beloved WREIC (Water Resistance Executive in Charge), Kooby Babcock, had holed himself up in the HQ lab, tirelessly testing the water resistance of a top secret Vacation® Brand sunscreen product in development. He was relentless and encouraging data piled up. Trouble is, the aforementioned top secret product, water spray bottle, composition notebook and erasable pen alone can only take an experientially-minded scientist like Kooby so far. When he knew it was time to put both his product and his body to the ultimate test, Kooby knew what to do and a phone call was made to the Chancellor Commissioner of Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation. On an especially windless day, with a borrowed Mistral Hookipa Sailboard and the novice’s wisdom that he would fall off said board on multiple occasions, Kooby paddled his way into the salty waters of Biscayne Bay. With much grunting, he hoisted himself up onto the board and gripped the sail, pleased to find, once he’d caught his breath, that the product was 99.9999% intact on his skin. Yes, the experiment was a success. In fact, it was a success 26 times due to Kooby’s repeated loss of balance on the stagnate board. Thank you for your perseverance, Kooby 🤝
