According to locals, Donna disregarded the “30 minute wait rule” and bravely made her way to the waters shortly after enjoying continental breakfast with friends and family at the East Bay Resort. “I know I only ate about 15 minutes ago but I was feeling a little adventurous today,” Donna told Vacation® journalists at the scene. “My husband gave me his snorkel just in case things got out of hand.” Donna purportedly made her way back out of the waters to inform the rest of her family that it’s safe to swim after eating an entire mini-box of Corn Flakes and half a cup of house-made granola. “It’s a tough job,” Donna says, “but somebody has to do it.”
