Congratulations Shelby, Donna, and Marybeth for securing first place during last night’s Vacation® Leisure Trivia Night at CJ's Tiki Bar & Grill. With 3 PhDs in Leisure Philosophy and a diverse range of cocktails in hand, this “trivia trio” proved a fierce competition for 12-time gold medalist Team Tortuga.
During the final round, colleagues were at the edge of their barstools as the trio only needed 3 more points to defeat the infamous Tortugas. But much to their dismay - neither Shelby, Donna, nor Marybeth had an answer. At her wits’ end, Shelby preemptively made her way to Team Tortuga’s table to congratulate them— but made a shocking revelation instead.
Captain of Team Tortuga, Rodney McNeil, had an estimated 4 pages from the Leisure History Handbook written beneath his Mai Tai’s cocktail umbrella. Immediately, Shelby alerted bar staff and Team Tortuga was swiftly disqualified and escorted to the exit via rental scooter. Once again, congratulations Shelby, Donna, and Marybeth for not only your victory, but for preserving the integrity of Leisure Trivia for all.
