Congratulations Lorraine and Dean Mancini! This treasured leisure photograph was taken just moments after Dean's "seafood inspired" proposal at Skipper's Sunset Cruise & Grill. Where unbeknownst to Dean's soon-to-be, he requested an additional "special ingredient" to their Couple's Clam Linguine: a 14K gold freshwater pearl engagement ring.
As soon as their clam-laden cuisine arrived, Dean grabbed his fork and began the search. But upon further inspection, there was no ring to be found. Suddenly, he noticed a similar-looking couple at the neighboring table was coincidentally served the same exact dish. And the topping? A glimmering, closed cherrystone clam.
Nervous, Dean immediately rushed to their table and snatched the brilliant bivalve mollusc. Leaving the couple aghast and bewildered, Dean did a surprisingly elegant abrupt pirouette, dropped to one knee in front of his beloved, opened the clam, and proposed to her. Overjoyed, she wiped a tear from her eye and a single strand of linguine from her lip.
Needless to say, the entire restaurant (including the momentarily-perplexed adjacent couple) applauded and the two have remained inseparable ever since. Truly, a tear-jerking tale of courtship in the name of leisure.
