After a long morning of back-to-back meetings and team-building exercises, our multimedia team took to the seas to finally enjoy their 12 o'clock lunch on the coast of Virginia Key Beach. That was until a sudden gust of wind, strong enough to rustle the mustaches of all 7 employees, tipped over both the crew and their beloved rental boat.
Without hesitation, Head Webmaster Jacoby Montgomery instructed his colleague, Harold Kim, to dive in and untangle the sail. As the rest of the team assembled, Jacoby led them in a sunscreen sea shanty as they worked together to flip the boat over and right it once again.
Eventually the sky cleared, and finally, the team could enjoy the remaining 37 minutes of their lunch break with a voyage along the Floridian coastline. As they cruised along the beautiful shores, the crew of 7 continued their shanty, embracing a newfound sense of camaraderie and achievement.
Needless to say, a raise and extended PTO is in the works for these exemplary employees. And a beachside barbeque party complete with refreshing mojitos and grilled caprese skewers is already in the works. Great job, team.
