One of the most beautiful Hadith I read is the following, the Prophet ﷺ said, “The angel on the left holds up his pen (refrains from writing down) for six hours after a Muslim commits a sin. If the person regrets it and asks Allah SWT for forgiveness, he casts it aside (does not write it down), otherwise he writes it down as one.” How merciful is Al-Rahman that even after we commit a sin he gives us the opportunity to ask for forgiveness before it is written in our book.
