Are we rushing through life trying to jam as much in because we know our physical time will come to an end?
Because we know (or perhaps deny) that we will all die?
It can be so painful to really accept this reality.
It can be so painful to loose the physical presence of those that we love.
Or to hold another as they experience physical loss.
It's scary to slow down, to actually be present and accept that this, right now, is life. And physical death is part of it.
We don't have control.
You might be cringing, triggered or uncomfortable even reading the word 'death'. It's not 'heavy or dark', it is real. And I've been feeling into the discomfort around 'endings' and impermanence a lot lately.
But what I realise is that we are a vessel - simply a channel here to experience all emotions and physical happenings. And the more we welcome the pain, the confrontation, the growth and transitions in life - the more internal peace and acceptance will follow.
Let go, stop pushing emotion away, welcome duality.
Everything passes, us included.
Whatever you are feeling or going through right now, high or low, you are not alone. Embrace the learning.
Enjoy your life.
There is no other choice.
