r e f l e c t i o n s • I always temporarily think that It will make me feel beautiful, but it does the opposite... The external - that new outfit, having my hair or make up professionally done or dressing up for a special occasion. It's never cultivated that sensation for me.
I feel most beautiful when I am in circle, with a group of women - new or familiar company.
I feel most beautiful barefoot and silent, listening and witnessing another person open and share with heart.
Vulnerability makes me feel beautiful because it brings us together, it evokes Union. Not power or distinction, Union.
It reminds me of the similarities we ALL share.
And the beauty I see and feel from every person I share that honest moment with is a reflection.
