'Wherever you find yourself, be all there' a sentiment that is whispering loudly this week. Solo travel leads to rapid change in motion.
Our intention was to share parts of our travel through SNAPCHAT, a platform that we are brand new to.
You know, 'because all the brands are doing it, it would be good?' Funnily enough, my wifi connection has been so intermittent and slow-loading that I cannot even load the APP let alone share / view videos on there ?
We can often get swept up into a world dominated by social media where we tend to unconsciously live to share, rather than live to live, to be fully present in the moment. I can find myself over consuming.
So today I thank the universal (technical) interferences for a few days of a 'hall pass' as here I am, being all here.
The streets are my distraction, not my screen. And the journey feels almost more sacred.
Ask yourself (as am I) : are you living to share? Are you distracting yourself, from yourself by spending too much time watching others lives unfold instead of just appreciating where you stand? Either way there is definitely no right or wrong answer, any opportunity to reflect and reassess is always worthy. It's all about finding a balance that works for you.
