White space in a design mindset, can be seen as a 'negative'. It is a portion of a page left unmarked, valuable room which should be 'utilised' and filled as much vital information as possible.
But white space is not a waste. It should not be considered 'blank or incomplete', it is an element of design that enables objects or text to exist at all.
Long metaphor - basically, we welcome the white space. In our days, it could be described as a gentle pause.... or a long, enjoyable breath. The space between moments, the time taken to relax after a long day. The savasana at the end of a dynamic yoga class, sitting on the beach after a swim, or simply watching your child play (without being on your phone). Nowhere else to be, but in that moment, in that space....
