Y E S || to committing to life outside of work and money.. Really :: ponder over that powerful statement. 'To LIVE a life outside of work and money'. When I first read this somewhere last week, I was taken aback at just how defined I have become by my work - 'because I love it and it's one of my passions, so it's okay if it completely consumes all of me'. And this has unintentionally and honestly, begun to feel really restrictive. Y'all know that feeling?
So today I mindfully and intentionally commit to more freedom and less restriction. Less uniformity, strategy and sense. To celebrating living from the organic creative 'madness'. To saying 'it's okay not to post jewellery in each photo' because our lives aren't only about jewellery. It's EPIC to show up unpolished, in reality we all are! Because at the end of the day, Violet Gray is a brand that isn't just about jewellery - it is more of a way of life - a life led with intention. And that overriding intention right now is to just BE. Less mind, less (self imposed) pressure and more heart. And more random photos of the spontaneous handstands in random places that seem to occur more frequently than not.... ? {Alex}
