Alex is off on her first real 'paid' holiday - the journey of working for yourself forever has many highs and lows.
The beauty in sisterhood (literally working with your sister) and unconditional love : we encourage and support each other to pursue our passions, do what we individually need to replenish, to feel inspired... To be the best version of 'us' separately. We work together to encourage life flexibility, creativity and purpose. We balance - so if one needs down time, the other can step right in and continue with the tempo. I'm a traveller and get 'high' from being on the road with my Canadian. She is a home lover and gets 'high' from being in the mountains, in the garden with her husband and little one. This is right now, we know we both will continue to change, but we will continue to work together to support each other's needs. Happier US = happier Violet Gray ? And flourishing Violet Gray!
So... In the name of honouring presence and detachment, I'll be logging out for at least the next week. When I am back in Australia, we'll be speaking at 3 x exciting events on the Gold Coast and forging forward with many VG plans and jewels. Franny is in the studio running Violet Gray as per normal, packaging your precious orders and watching / appreciating all of your beautiful Instagram and Facebook sharings. May we all remember just how important it is to honour own own needs... And each other. Life is short!
