T R U T H || In some moments I ponder over whether we should only post about jewellery, but then I instantly snap out of it. Truth be known, this isn't a regular faceless retail label nor one that gets inspired by filling your feeds with 'on trend' photos to look 'cool' that don't even belong to us. Violet Gray is an extension of two sisters, real people and what we share is in some way generally related to our own lives. Today, this is me - igniting the shit out of my Solar Plexus Chakra. I once fell into the story that 'Oh, Alex travels to escape reality' but nooo, this is not truth. I deeply realise that Alex travels to reconnect with her own truth, her inspiration and ignite her seat of power - being the Solar Plexus Chakra. Often when we get into a rhythm of life, accepting to settle with the known possible and live how we feel is accepted. We may dull our sparkle and hand over our power, unconsciously. Then we feel disempowered, reliant on others; life becomes mundane, comfortable and boring. Been here? Yeah we all have! So how do we snap out of this? Do something BRAVE, big or small. Get courageous, push boundaries, challenge yourself and get comfy with the uncomfortable. You know, that type of uncomfortable where you squirm, maybe wanna cry and hide? Do that, but lean into it and see how you feel on the other side. I can assure you that you will feel an increased level of independence, courage, personal strength, energy, confidence and power. It is when we embrace these situations that we can really grow and evolve. This trip is re-opening me to these sensations once again. Today :: A solo 13km early hike, crossing rivers, scrambling up muddy, rocky inclines. They say it takes 4-8hrs return, I did it in 3. Skipping along quickly, happily whispering Base + Solar Plexus Mantras to myself ("I am.... & I can...."), rock-hopping like a boss! (Thanks brother @lets_gro). My willingness to try was rewarded with a 30 metre waterfall - powerful and revitalising beyond measure. Moral: believe you are the MIRACLE in working, then be it. Anything is possible when you connect with your internal power. And... Choose to do what makes you feel GOOD. Ready... Set...
