Sometimes when I’m questioning the devotion it takes to operate a business, an email will land in my inbox sharing how a necklace has helped a woman through loosing her partner... or helped a woman through her birth... or helped another to take a giant leap into the unknown...
When I question the impact, it’s YOU that reminds me that yes jewellery and talismans created with intention can become really important.
It’s not the paid ‘IG models’ pretending that they love a product or the digitally created female profile that brands are now paying thousands of dollars to have ‘wear’ their pieces (did anyone read that article?)
It’s YOU guys, the real ones - the ones that purchase and wear your jewels because you love them.. and as they subtly sit on your body, you share about them. And what they mean to you. In the flesh with others.
Its each time I see a name pop up in the orders, a name that has supported Violet Gray for years, I am reminded of the power of real (albeit virtual) community and I just feel so bloody grateful that you keep coming back.
It’s YOU.. and your stories that keep me striving to improve and always offer the highest quality offerings that I can. Thank you, for reminding me of all of this.
