I gifted this beauty to myself shortly after I learned I was pregnant, it sounded like a message I didn’t want to forget over the months to follow.
That night when my labour began, well, it all unfolded very quickly... it was beautiful and intense and yes, scary (although everything went so well) and amidst only a few peaceful details I hold in my memory is this one... a minute perhaps between contractions, my forehead resting on Tim’s chest as we both paused for a moment’s rest in the warm water. Soft music of @eastforest playing in the background. I open my eyes to see this treasure swaying from around my neck. Just the reminder I needed. I Am Open. The power of talisman, the power of intention.
Sonny joined us earthside but minutes later. ✨”
