For a long time I believed (and was vocal) that having children would ‘ruin my life’... my identity was strongly attached to freedom, independence, work and travel.
My Mum became very ill when I was 12 and we lost her constant nurturing presence in our lives when heart break lead to mental illness. So my ‘mother wounding’ was deep.
But then, I began to grow little Sully Hart ♥
And I’ve never lived so deeply. I’ve never loved so hard, or felt so devoted and connected.. I’ve never felt so aligned, or adaptable. And these good feels have now sprinkled across all areas of my life.
He didn’t ruin my life, he’s absolutely deepened it.
And now it’s so clear that becoming a Mother has always been a part of my path. And I’m just so appreciative for this opportunity and for him.
Happy Mother’s Day to ALL women.
All women are mothers whether (human) children are in our journey or not.
And this essence in ALL of us, is one to celebrate! ✨
