A moment caught in between as we paused for a quick second (shoot days certainly aren’t all lols on antique couches... 😃). Once upon a time this was my grandparents couch - you know the ones that you are most definitely not allowed to sit on as a child?
Yesterday was the longest amount of time I’ve been away from my son in his 8 months on earth (a full day, woah!) and we spent the afternoon in creative play; barefoot shooting and filming a very special and limited offering that will be landing online on November 10.
Violet Gray is run solely by me - so when I say ‘we’ - I’m grateful to have some seriously talented and humble co-creatives (including my jewellers) and others that dip in.... like Tuany @genghis_tuan who is like a brother, and the legend behind the VG videos and Tigz @tegankiri, my sweet sweet cousin, and VG photographer of 7 years. (She’s a keeper! ☺️)
This post or words aren’t fancy or poetic, but life or business isn’t always. So as I share the ramble - I just wanted to show some realness in a world (and my own grid) that tends to encourage glossy perfection.
