Allow me to burst a romantic bubble - taking your very active 10 month old into a jewellery manufacturing space is more like a wrestling match in a crystal shop 😂
We had already eaten all of food I packed, played with the salt shaker and toothpaste he found on a lower shelf, switched bouncing arms (mine and our Jeweller), spilt orange food all over my white pants and so I strapped him in for a second.... tight.... it’s an old, sentimental loupe in my hand as I hold my breath and check intricate settings and engraving, praying that Sully’s super strength doesn’t rip it right out of my hand and smash the glass... leaving my jewellers father very upset.
Good news - he didn’t! 💪🏽 And we hilariously survived (thrived through?!) another design meeting.
He doesn’t always join me... I wonder why?! 🤷🏼♀️
