6 years ago in December, Marty walked into a lululemon store in Brisbane where I had set up a pop up table for a few hours and he bought a beaded bracelet that I had made for his new love.
He was about to travel back home to the UK for Christmas and this would be the first gift he was ever to give her.
Over the years and since then, they visited me at markets and my showroom, ordered online... they eloped, birthed and continue to raise the most articulate and sparky (almost) 5 year old, Lola. They are a beautiful open-hearted couple that radiate such authentic kindness.
Today they dropped by my home (a visit Marty disguised with a ‘we need petrol detour’ 😂).
We sat on the floor and Riss opened her 40th birthday gift - ROSE, a morganite and 14k yellow gold ring with personalised engraving.
