Gem fact :: Zircons are one of the densest gemstones of all. What does that mean?
When you put two stones next to each other and compare a Zircon in weight with another gemstone ie. A Diamond - the Zircon will be smaller in size as it is much heavier.
If you compare the weight of a Zircon and a same-sized Diamond, you’ll find that the Zircon weighs approximately 50% more than the Diamond. Keep this in mind when comparing stones as some metrics don’t really translate.
