They start with a stone. A vibrant, Earth grown stone that has a quality or essence that is indescribable about *her. And once I have that stone to hold and feel and see in my hand, the design begins to unfold.
The complimentary metal, the minuscule dimensions of each shape, height and positioning of each element in the design. The accent stones or additional inclusions and pondering of why they are there, what’s their purpose and how that (often tiny 1mm) stone adds heart-value (sentimentality) to that piece.
My Jeweller and I then jam each design out... with a goal to achieve a perfect union of aesthetics and practicality whilst also still attempting to push the creative boundaries.

His hands touch each piece, like a Magician, expertly soldering, stone setting, polishing, finishing.

My hands then receive them, firstly admiring and often in awe of how another dream is now tactile, in a finished form. We photograph each piece multiple times; I create website listings that often feel like they take a lifetime.👩🏼💻
I sink into their names and stories. Sometimes this is instant, sometimes it needs to simmer. They are valued and then they appear online, starting from a nothing and birthing into an actual ‘something’. A something that has just begun and is awaiting their direction.... onto a hand and into hearts, made to last lifetimes and carry many memories within families.
